Born in Athens in 1949,
Nikos Michailidis started off in his school years as
a radio amateur operator, using his own self-built
short-wave transmitter.
His desire to turn his hobby into a profession, led him to the National Technological University of Athens where he graduated in 1973 with an
Electronic and Mechanical Engineer diploma.
He worked in various companies, amongst which the National Greek Television Station (ERT) and MANGOS S.A., a pioneer post-production facility in Athens,
up until 1996, when he founded his own design office.
He combines his excellent theoretical training and rich implementing and constructional experience with an inventive mind, always following the
technological evolutions and being updated regarding the rapidly changing greek and national markets.
